This newsletter will be posted on the FG group as well, and we will be sending it out via the Ministry Manager to test that process.  

What Happens When We Come Expecting?

 Psalm 130:5-8 "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord (Yahweh) there is steadfast love, and with Him is plentiful redemption. And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities."

What happens when we come expecting? God delivers! Above and beyond what we could have asked. 

Tomorrow, the Men's Walk to Emmaus kicks off and God is going to do some amazing redemptive work! 

As the community, and as sponsors, just some reminders on how we can be a part of this ministry!

Send off- please have your pilgrim arrive between 6-6:30 for registration and dinner. 7:20 pilgrims head up the hill. Community and sponsors that are coming- don't forget to bring a covered dish AND be prepared to stay after send-off for the sponsors' prayer time. 

Prayer Vigil- Praise God the prayer vigil is FULL! Now, remember to spend time fighting the battle in prayer as this weekend begins! 

Candlelight- This is not just a call for the sponsors, but a call to the community. It is so impactful when candlelight is filled with the community. Please try to support the walk by attending candlelight. Community shows up at 8. It is a long drive for a brief moment. But that is how BIG God loves us. 

Closing- Join us as we celebrate the completed work of the walk, and the beginning of the fourth days with our new community members at 4:30!

Welcome to the new NET Emmaus website!

 This is a work in progress, so keep checking back as new information will be added!

For now, here is some important information:

There will be a gathering Thursday, February 1st at Covenant Christian Church in Paris, TX at 6pm. Bring your purple book, fish name tag, a covered dish, and an attitude of gratitude!

There is an upcoming men's walk!! We need pilgrims! Pray about the men in your life and see if the Lord directs you to sponsor any of them! Remember, there are duties that go with sponsorship, so pray about it first.  You can send applications to Diane Stegall at Diane.Stegall@mwrep.org, netemmauswalk@gmail.com, or you can contact a board rep for a mailing address.  This is men's walk 24-159, led by Tim Grahm.

The prayer vigil for the walk will be posted soon! 

The next women's walk is April 18th-21st, led by Torina House. More info to come!
